I have a recurring blog post/drip email campaign/etc. - are you available for retainer?
Absolutely! Rather than negotiating a new contract each time, we can discuss a monthly retainer based on the type of project.
Will you sign a non-disclosure agreement?
All services are performed under a mutual non-disclosure agreement. In some cases I may ask for permission to share snippets of my work in my portfolio, but no materials will be used in any case without explicit written permission, and only after the project is complete.
I’m so happy with your service! How can I share a testimonial?
Thank you! My #1 goal is for my clients to be happy with my work. If you would like to offer a testimonial for my website, you can send it to me in an email! I only use first names and position titles in testimonial statements.
What is the difference between proofreading and copyediting?
Editing happens after a piece has been written, and it is usually still “raw” as far as formatting, fonts, headers, etc. Editing looks for content flow, consistency, and accuracy, as well as spelling, grammar, and more.
Proofreading is the last step before publication; the piece should be in it’s final form.
Proofreading will do a final check for spelling, grammar, and punctuation, as well as formatting.
You know the old adage, “Measure twice, cut once”?
The first measurement is the edit, the second measurement is the proofread, and the cut is publication.
